Mindmaps
Not a new idea certainly but here is some inspiration to look at using them that I found in another blog today. Go to
http://www.mindmaps.moonfruit.com/
and you will see what I mean. They are all downloadable and there is bound to be something that you could use for your classes or to help you plan your work. Students, imagine how impressed your teacher would be if you turned in a plan mapped out like one of these. There are map templates that can be downloaded too. Such a useful site, do yourself a favour and check it out.
Another free midmapping tool on the web is Text2Mindmap. At the website you type in the text and it will then make a mindmap for you. So simple so easy.

Hi there,
I have a directory of 900+ mindmaps with thumbnails and links to their original sites. Maps are tagged by subject and you can select to see just those with the tag you want.
The maps are also categorized by type (true mindmaps, spidergrams, concept maps …) and you can filter to see just one type, as well.
This should be useful for students.
Many (maybe most?) of the creative MOONFRUIT maps are in the directory. If you like Paul’s work, then another mapper who’s work I’m sure you’ll love is Adam Sicinski, and there are many of his there as well.
The site is at http://www.topicscape.com/mindmaps/

Argey
